Cancellations made up to 24 hours before departure receive a 100% refund. Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the cruise.
The carrier is not liable for loss of life or personal injury unless caused by gross negligence. Passengers must not bring illegal drugs, weapons, flammable or hazardous materials on board. The captain or authorized officers may conduct searches of passengers and their belongings. Passengers must comply with all safety regulations and instructions given by the captain or crew.
“ATHENS DAY CRUISES” safety procedures are fully harmonized and certified by the Greek Shipping Authorities in full compliance with the International Ship Management Code. Following the regulations of the Greek Coast Guard, all officers and personnel must pass examinations and training on emergency procedures, including fire safety, sea rescue, evacuation, and handling marine disasters.
On every departure, announcements are made informing passengers of the ship’s safety regulations and procedures, as well as additional advice. Safety instructions are also located in prominent locations and central points of each ship. For further information, passengers may contact the ship’s officer or the reception desk.
Women up to the 12th week of pregnancy are advised to seek medical consultation before traveling. Women beyond the 28th week of pregnancy must present a medical certificate confirming their fitness to travel. Passengers with physical or mental disabilities or illnesses affecting their ability to travel must provide a medical certificate. The carrier assumes no liability for medical care quality at ports or places of disembarkation.
The ship’s operation may be affected by weather, governmental intervention, vessel traffic, and unforeseen circumstances. The carrier reserves the right to cancel, postpone, alter, or terminate a cruise for operational or safety reasons. The carrier does not guarantee visits to all advertised ports or a specific sea route or schedule.
Unaccompanied minors under 18 are not permitted. Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. Children may not remain on board if the parent or guardian disembarks.
The carrier is not liable for loss or damage of private property. Passengers are liable for any damages caused to the ship, its property, or any expenses incurred due to rule violations.
Passengers must report lost items to the ship’s officer immediately. Lost items found on board will be transferred to the headquarters of “ATHENS DAY CRUISES.”
The carrier reserves the right to change published rates, including the imposition of fuel surcharges, without prior notice. Passengers remain responsible for any taxes, fees, or surcharges imposed by governmental authorities.
No pets are allowed on board, except for certified service animals for the blind.
Disputes related to transportation or terms are governed by Greek law and the Athens Convention. Legal matters shall be handled by the Courts of Piraeus, Greece, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
